We can design, install, repair and maintain commercial refrigeration equipment from large warehouse chillers and freezer rooms to small fridges, freezers, cellar coolers and ice machines, and can provide energy efficient cooling equipment options.  A typical application for indirect free cooling is the provision of cold water for cooling data centres and servers. This makes it possible to reduce the operating load hours of the refrigerating machine, so saving a significant proportion of the energy costs. When the ambient temperature is low, the refrigerating machine can be switched off completely. This means reduced energy costs, longer refrigerating machine service life and less maintenance.

We offer an excellent service at an economical price with no mileage or call out charge, just simply our hourly rate. We aim to offer a first-time repair on breakdowns.  Our engineers carry many spare parts.

We provide commercial refrigeration services to companies throughout the UK.  We work for both local and national companies offering a fast and reliable service.

Maintenance Contract Packages

We can offer maintenance packages on all types of refrigeration equipment tailored to suit your operational needs.

Naturally, we hope the worst won’t happen but just in case it does, SK offer lower cost call out options and a priority service to all our customers on one of our maintenance packages, as well as 24-hour refrigeration and air conditioning breakdown cover 365 days a year. 

We have a large team of highly experienced service and maintenance engineers, who are qualified to F-Gas, City & Guilds standards or equivalent. Our experienced engineers are based in and around Gloucester, Worcester and Bristol and generally operate within Gloucestershire and surrounding Counties along the M4 & M5 Corridors.  

Are you feeling the impact of the rising cost of HFC refrigerant?

F-Gas regulations are measures to reduce F-Gas and prevent harmful leakage into the atmosphere, to help combat global warming. With the phasing down of F-Gas, this is causing reduced availability of refrigerants adding to ongoing increases in cost. In some cases, over 300% in the last year making HFC systems unviable as a long-term option.

From 2020, refrigerants with a global warning potential (GWP) of more than 2,500 such as R404A, R422D, R507A will be phased out and banned in new systems. The ultimate objective is to cut the availability of HFCs by 79% between 2017 and 2030. Therefore, implementing an environmentally and commercially sustainable solution that will meet legal requirements is critical to business continuity.
